Following is a copy of the e-mail I sent out this morning to share the good news of my grandchild's arrival on the 13th, in Nashville. Want to share the safe and happy arrival here with my McDougaller cyber- friends!

We have a precious new little baby girl in the family.
Baby Bethany arrived Wednesday, Sept. 13, around 11 am in Nashville, TN. She is healthy and very strong and is sooooooo beautiful. Mommy Rebekah was radiant and looked so very lovely sitting up in her bed-- big smiles-- after the birth. Amazing.
Daddy, Mike, attended the birth, and Big Sister BreAnna and "NOW-I'm-finally-a-big-brother!", Aaron, are so in-love with their new tiny baby sister. Cay and I arrived at the hospital from Fayetteville, TN, just a minute or two before Bethany made her appearance here on planet Earth! I was both privileged and blessed to be invited to spend the night with Rebekah in her live-in hosp. room and help out with baby and Momma' for the first two days. I am so grateful and thankful for Bethany's safe arrival, and Rebekah's and Mike's devotion to their family-- (immediate and extended).
Bethany is my 17th Grandchild, each one unique and unmeasureably precious to me. Better than Gold! I truly am RICH.
