Subject: Is this right???

Hello everyone. Newbie here. Okay so I am there. I am done with this weight and I am serious about it. I had a McDougall MWL book sitting around my house and I decided to dive in and my family is supporting me all the way. I am at 255 lb and I am 5'5". I read this book years ago and I am rereading it now. I started the program 2 days ago and I wanted to share with you my meals over the last two days to make sure I am understanding this right.

Day 1
B- Quaker Oats Oatmeal about 1 1/2 C with about 3T maple syrup. ( I know measuring is not suppose to be needed but I thought for the purposes of this post I would put them.) Coffee with splenda and a splash of cream. I am working on getting rid of this as well. This is going to be the most difficult for me. I bought a box of vanilla chai tea. I am still sycing myself up for it.

L- Fruit smoothie made with frozen berries, bananas, fruit juice and ice.

S- 1 apple sliced, 1 banana sliced with a drizzle of honey.

D- 2 bowls of Spaghetti with marinara sauce.

Day 2

B- Same as Day 1 Oatmeal with syrup

L- 1 banana sliced, 1 peach sliced with drizzle of honey.

S- Luna Bar

D- 2 lrg bowls McDougalls recipe for Confetti beans but also added zucchini.
Because of running around dinner was rather late probably too close to bedtime and I was very hungry and light headed. Had I made dinner on time I don't think I would have felt this way. Dinner didn't hit the table until 8:30.

By the way I have also been consuming at least 8 glasses of cold water with a couple of drops of bottled lemon juice to make it more refreshing and appealing.

Thank you for your help in reviewing this.

Theresa
