Subject: So sad....

Our town faces another loss. A prominent family loses a military son when the F/A 18 C Hornet he was flying in a training mission crashed on Tuesday night.
His family has a dental practice. Dad and his brothers are all dentists; one of his brothers is our dentist. Our dd's best friend works for the father in his office. Another connection is that before we even moved here another son was one of the first people we met here in town. (Have I mentioned we live in a really small town?)
What a sad and tragic loss for this family. He was only 27 years old and just recently married, no children. He had just returned from more than 3 months deployed in The Middle East with Operation Iraqi Freedom and was back where he's stationed in San Diego. Back "out of harm's way" one would have hoped.
