#########hello John and other list members,
i just listened to the interview with Dr Maura Ricketts.
pretty interesting. they speak of countries that
are doing absolutely nothing. they speak for examples
of Germany, Spain, and Italy, and how they should have
known long before they did? (if i understood this
correctly, some may interpret another way). no mention
of USA failed policies$), but i felt she was speaking of
the USA as well. the question of 'policing the whole world
for BSE' as being impossible came up, but Dr Ricketts was
not ready to concede that yet. Sub clinical BSE came up,
and how BSE transmission was very easy between cattle.
BUT, _most importantly_, what i found that _very_ interesting,
was when they were discussing the fact in the Philips
report they were speaking of a 'pepper-corn' size piece
of tainted TSE material as being lethal. Dr. Ricketts
spoke of a new study showing that;
.1 gram of BSE/TSE tainted materials as being lethal.
this is very disturbing news...tss
