Workshop to discuss contingency options on BSE and sheep
Monday, 23 May 2005
The Food Standards Agency is inviting consumers and stakeholders to contribute to a review of the approach it would take, should BSE ever be found in the UK sheep flock.
In December 2004 the Agency Board began a review of the options available to it should BSE be discovered in UK sheep.
The Board’s aim is to ensure that the measures in place to control BSE are based on the latest scientific knowledge and are proportionate.
Consumers and stakeholders will be able to contribute by attending a workshop discussion or through written submissions. The workshop will take place in London on 16 June 2005. Participants will be drawn from across stakeholder groups.

JIMMINY CRICKET, how long they going to disguss this.
they been discussing this for about 20 years. and i will not
even go to the mixing up of the brains again, about like the
hound study or the atypical TSE in Vermont sheep flub up. except,
i don't think that was any flub up...TSS
