Call for Papers
International Chronic Wasting Disease Symposium
Madison, Wisconsin
July 12-14, 2005
The 2nd International Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) Symposium will be
held July 12-
14, 2005 at the Monona Terrace Conference Center in Madison, Wisconsin.
Topics for
presented paper sessions are Biology of Prions; Human Dimensions of CWD; CWD
Policy and Administration; Environmental Contamination, Disposal and
Disinfection;
CWD Surveillance Issues; CWD and Other Species; TSE Diagnostics; Regulatory
Agencies and CWD: Issues, Roles and Challenges; Ecology and Epidemiology
of CWD;
and Management and Control of CWD. There will also be a poster session.
Those
wishing to submit a title and brief abstract to be considered for a
presentation or poster
are asked to complete the submission form (available at web addresses,
below). Please email
completed forms to the conference planners at cwdsymp@usgs.gov. Additional
