Subject:	bananas in the smoker

heard a discussion by the founder of a local chain of gourmet ice cream, who
was asked about the worst ice cream she'd ever made. Her response: she'd
always thought smoked bananas were wonderful, so made some and made ice
cream which she said tasted like turpentine. Never heard of smoking bananas,
and would like to give them a try. Anybody got an idea how to do it?
