We are hosting Christmas at our house this year. Our children are ages 3, 6, 8, 11 (disabled mentally), 13, and 19. I would like to do some sort of entertainment--it has never been done at Christmas before. I was thinking of having my 8 year old recite "Twas the Night Before Christmas", because that could be kinda entertaining. But I really wanted to do a dinner Theater kind of thing. I just have no ideas at all. I am asking if any of you on this board have any ideas for entertaining that involves my children--rather than just keeping food hot and hanging coats. My extended family usually does "White Elephant Gift Exchanges" and some people play board games. No more than that is expected, but I wanted something that would really be memorable--without making my children look precocious. Thanks, |
