One idea I used when I was a teenager was to find a jar with a removeable lid. I then wrote down as many things as I could think of that was a way to tell my mom that I love her. Some of my ideas were "I love how you make sweet potatoes just the way I like them at Thanksgiving. And set the dish right in front of my plate."Or "I love it when we you are waiting for me after school with a smile."

Just use whatever container you can find and decorate it with stickers or glued on fabric, whatever you have. You could even tear up tissue paper into small pieces, then water down a little glue and paste it on the jar.

If your using a mason jar you can slide a cut piece of fabric under the lid to decorate it up.

When I gave her mine I attached a tag that said "for whenever you just need a little hug".

To this day it is my mother's favorite gift! Be creative and look around your house and see what you could use. If nothing else you could make a pocket out of construction paper.

Good Luck!
