In two weeks I am teaching a class on how to do basic crosstitching and then turn the picture into a quilted wall hanging. All you would need is the pattern, crosstitch fabric, floss, thread and quilt fabric. Oh, and needles. A lot of basic patterns are free on the internet too! If it is a small picture, the quilting can be done by hand..... Depending on the skill/interest of the students, this could be as involved or as basic as they choose! :o)
