Have you seen a new electronic type "thing" called Q20 Tabletop? You are suppose to think about an object. It starts asking you questions (i.e. do you eat it? Is is living? etc.). After a series of questions/answers it tells you what you are thinking of. They say it is VERY ACCURATE and VERY NEAT! Toy stores sell them - sounds like something boys would enjoy trying to stump!
