Subject:         loss of man's leg hair

I am losing the hair on my legs in a random shaped pattern on both legs. I have been tested for blood flow, thyroid, pituitary gland, and even had biopsy of a hair folicle. All tests came back fine. Even the biopsy showed the hair was fine. There is no activity I do that would warrant such a loss of leg hair. I wear and sleep in 100% cotton. I use allergy free / sensitive skin soap and laundry detergent. The area where the hair loss is very dry now and flaky. Some weeks I can feel stubble like the hair is trying to regrow, but alas...it does not.
I have dark hair on my legs and it appears that I have been shaving random shapes on my legs. The appearance is embarrassing and I miss my "manly legs". Any ideas to cause and or fix to this problem? Thanks!
