Here I was innocently looking for some relief for my sore throat and come across a self righteous person claiming to know Jesus? I am not sure YOU really understand how saved from sin you are, "brother." I never remember the Lord Jesus ever speaking so brazenly as you just have to unreligious people. He was always humble and direct, not "Oh I will pray for you my son". You know, it is extremely disrespectful and patronizing to suggest someone needs prayer so flippantly.Of course we all DO, so just pray, don't tell someone!!! I am personally praying for my strep and in fact was touched when my 10 year old prayed for me--but healing is not the only thing I can pray for. For example, perhaps one way God will use my strep is to meet certain people and speak to them or help them in some way. I probably won't pass this way again, but was compelled to respond to this at least seeming pride. Anonymous emails are dangerous to the hearts of others-we can too easily unintentionally or carelessly hurt others. In His service, Lori
