I believe that your doctor is partially correct, but simply adding meat back into your diet will not have any effect on the headaches, and since you don't want to (eat meat), perhaps there is another answer.

When the term 'blood type' is used, it really means immune system type, how your body was genetically designed to defend itself. One of the primary locations of the immune system is in the digestive system, as it has no 'skin' to protect it.

Many of the foods listed as 'avoid' for a person who is blood type O do not react well with the microvilla of the (type O) digestive tract and can lead to headaches and migraines.

I also had a similar issue years ago, I was a vegan with a life threatening disease and chronic fatigue (migraines are not life threatening, but they sure can feel like they are). Instead of adding meat into my diet, I eliminated all of the foods listed as avoid for my blood type. When I started getting healthier, I re-evaluated the blood type theory.

Maybe you can do the same?

best wishes,
steve
