I just want to thank you for posting that answer to the person who was asking for help regarding swollen lips and tongue. I, as well, have been struggling with that since for several months. I have visited two doctors, have had two cultures taken, treated for thrush (prescription meds refilled three times), been swishing my mouth with Benedryl allergy liquid, all of which has addressed and minimized the symptoms, but NOT the cause. Yesterday, I put "swollen lips and tongue" in the Google search and read the thread that you responded to which made me think to look up the side effects of Fosamax that I take for osteoporosis. Gee, "allergic reaction causing swollen lips and tongue". The doctor that prescribed that for me last fall was the one I went to for my issue and he didn't even think to make that connection. Needless to say, no more Fosamax for me. Thanks again! Don't you love this technology!
