I would recommend finding a qualified 'Shiatsu' technician. Shiatsu is a form of 'accupressure'. Make sure you check out their qualifications, since pressure in the wrong area would truly aggravate the condition. There are different forms of Shiatsu therapy, they all have roots in one of three systems: Namikoshi Shiatsu, Shiatsu Anma, and Zen Shiatsu. I am only familiar with 'Namikoshi Shiatsu',it is entirely based in modern anatomy and physiology. CTS involves the 'median nerve'. This nerve runs all the way up the arm. (do a google image search for 'median nerve' to see this nerve). If you focus just on relieving the discomfort at the wrist, you might miss correcting the actual 'cause' of the discomfort. The source of your pain could be further up the arm. Shiatsu could correct this. It did for my friend. Could be worth looking into. It is non-invasive and you are fully clothed while this is done(if modesty is an issue). Hope this gives you another alternative to consider.
