Can't remember for sure, but isn't this what made the Judd's quit performing...the mom had hepatitis C? I think she consulted Andrew Weil and got it in "remission," and feels that it won't bother her, when before, she was ill and had to stop performing and didn't have such a good prognosis. I saw her on Larry King one time, but I can't remember for sure what Weil had her do to get well, maybe certain herbs and some dietary restrictions. This isn't much help, I guess, except that if you could look that up and find out how she got well, maybe you could at least find a direction to research. Hope you can find the answers and he gets well too!
