Subject: Osteopath questions

I just signed up for my health insurance, and I will be going to an osteopath. What should I expect when I go? I don't like to take medicine, and I am interested in a holistic approach to healing. An osteopath was the only non-traditional doctor available without a referral... does anyone have any advice for me? Thanks!
