Dear Jaclyn, my daughter gets bumps like that when she eats mangoes. Maybe you have developed an allergy to something you are eating. I get cold sores but usually not over the entire area. I have had some pretty nasty ones,but they are usually limited in area. Good luck,hope you are feeling better. Phyllis
