Some time ago I received email from a person who is part of an independent support group following the Ornish program in San Francisco. I don't know where or when they meet, but you may be able to find out about that group and possibly others by calling Dr. Ornish's organization, the Preventive Medicine Research Institute (PMRI) in Sausalito.

Often one can find out about support groups by asking at health food stores, yoga and meditation classes or cardiac rehabilitation centers.
