I have been diagnosed with high cholestoral around 2 years ago. I have gone in twice since then to check on my numbers. The first year I had dropped 15 kilos and was doing a little excercise. And all my cholestoral numbers went up. Sheesh. The past year I got out of the habit of excercising, and ate a little more and less heathly but I took 200IU of vitamin E everyday and had some soy. And I dropped my cholestoral. My current numbers are 5.47, Try 2.57, HD 0.81, LDL 3.49. I did the conversions using your charts (thanks for making them available) and found that the HDL, LDL and Tryglicerides are low, but the total cholestoral is high. What makes up the total? Thought I could add up its components and get the number. Thanks
Subject: How is total cholestoral calculated? And my experiences.
