Dr. Pinckney, my cholesterol is 168, LDL-C 98, HDL-C 58. But my LDL-P is 1567 which has concerned my MD enough that he is talking statins. Those values were from 3 months ago, at which time my diet was WFPB minimally processed but maybe 25% fat from nuts, seeds and avocado. So I have since dropped the fat to 10-12% and have a follow-up lipid panel in 3 weeks. Do you think my LDL-P will improve? Any other recommendations for lowering LDL-P? I'm a 66yo female, 5'2", 110 lb. I exercise every day - resistance training, moderate aerobic, yoga, walking. Thanks!
