Subject:         Elevated Cholesterol

A man commented to me how he was finally able to get a handle on his high cholesterol and heart disease only after abandoning a low fat vegan diet and going to a diet of "mostly red meat with lots of saturated fat." He said he now avoids all "toxic lectins" (wheat, rye, barley, corn, soy and dairy) and all starches also, but he does eat lot's of green vegetables.
I personally believe that he should have cut out the toxic lectins and stayed on the low-fat plant based diet. What is your opinion?

This is very important to me, as I may be fighting somewhat the same situation.
