Your husband's heart disease appears very similar to my own. I was able to reverse my condition without stents or other surgery, but each person has a unique medical situation, so there's no way I can predict what course of action would be best for your husband.

I'm saddened to hear that you were advised against traveling to Dr. Esselstyn. I'm not convinced that a trip such as that is ill-advised, and you stand to gain a great deal by consulting with him before having stents or any other invasive procedure.

I've put over 750 people through my support groups, many of whom had similar conditions as your husband. All who refused any invasive procedure were doing fine over a year later. (I haven't been able to follow up on these.)

I can tell you that chances of reversal success are very high for those following a reversal program that includes regular aerobic exercise, based on my own experience and that of hundreds of others who followed the advice of Drs. Ornish, Esselsyn and McDougall.
