Subject:	After 8.5 Lipid Panel Results Still Wonderful

Hi Everyone,

As some of you know from discussion on the board, I have followed Dr Esselstym, (Drs Pickney and Ornish as a Vegan) for 8,5 yrs. When I started I was 325 lbs. I am now 171 lbs (6'1"") and never felt better and have finally learned the secret of maintaining weight and health. I just had my yearly blood work and here are some of the results (fasted 14 hrs prior to testing) am 57 yrs old

Total Cholesterol 134
HDL 53
LDL 55
Triglycerides 132

CRP <0.2

PSA 0.9

I don't have heart disease but it runs in the family. So I finally woke up at 49 and adopted this lifestyle. Best decision of my life.

Thanks to Dr Pickney for this forum and his knowledge and caring over the years.
