Since limiting intake of Calories from fat is very important in the reversal program, can anyone explain how this can be achieved on a vegan diet. What are the things to avoid which have more than 10% calories from fat while strictly following Ornish/Esselstyn diet recommendations In my limited knowledge most fruits and vegetables will meet this criteria. After Eliminating oils, dairy and nuts, refined products and processed food what else one needs to avoid ? What about Whole grains like Wheat flour, Brown rice and Millet flour etc ? Do they meet the less than 10% requirements. Any inputs on the above will be very helpful .thanks
