I was on the reversal diet for 6 years. I lost 102 pounds during that time. I did not reverse heart disease and I don't think reversal is possible.

The program has the appearance of working for two reasons;
1. Your stomach is always empty or near empty, and thus is not consuming much blood to digest. ANYBODY with heart disease has less symptoms on an empty stomach.
2. The stress and worry of heart disease has been replaced with hope and a feeling of rejuvenation. Removing stress goes a long way to reducing angina.

Following this program does reduce angina for the above mentioned reasons. It also keeps your weight lower, which obviously is good. Better to follow this program than not, but don't fool yourself. I believe you're learning to LIVE with heart disease, not eradicate it. God bless.
