Hi Ricardo,

Again congratulations.

What I am surprised about is the fact that after all the years you have diligently followed the VLF diet you still have cravings. What amazed me was that after the first 45 days when I started 7.5 yrs ago all my cravings for the non compliant food I was eating prior stopped. This was reported by Dr E and was documented in early research by Dr Barnard. I must say, I haven't cheated even once during this time and when I look or smell non compliant food it appears non appetizing.

Thinking about your issue, are you incorporating any processed vegetarian or vegan food in your diet?; eating out alot? For me I keep it very basic. I rarely eat out and don't use any processed food in my diet. Everything I eat I make. No oil or non stick spray of any kind. Only veggies, fruit and whole grains (mostly brown rice and steel cut oats), beans and spices. Perhaps you are introducing some small trace of non compliant food in your meal preperation or consumption which is acting as a trigger. Just a thought for you to think about.

Continued success.

Best,

herman
