You mention flax seeds and walnuts on the list but then you said you don't eat seeds or nuts.Does that mean you get enough omega 3s just from fruits and vegetables on the list?

Also, aren't flax seed goitrogenic which can result in hypothyroidism? My body temp is in the 96.3-96.8 range (degrees F)when I am not physically active.(which is often). But,that's the only symptom(other than feeling cold) of low thyroid I have.Blood tests don't show anything out of the clinical range but are somewhat in the lower range.

I developed this low body temp when I added flax and other goitrogenic foods such as brocolli to my diet. But I also lost a great deal of weight so that may account for the low body temp and feeling cold.

Do you think this whole "goitrogenic" issue is overblown?
