I would be very skeptical of those reports because the people writing them and disseminating them on the Internet are of two types: 1. those associated with the coconut farming interests and 2. those who belong to organizations like the Weston Price organizations, who somehow believe that saturated fats are good for you. Reputable nutritionists including people from Mayo Clinic and other such places conclude that these reports are very misleading and dangerous to people with coronary artery disease. If you trace the authors of these articles, you will find some interesting connections. I personally would disregard these reports and maintain a fat free lifestyle if possible.
