sorry to know all this. As you heard from other travellers, most people prefers "pills" solutions than our vegan style. I wish next trip the cooker will treat you better.

In other hand your post made me to try Herman´s paper bag popcorn. It works for me. I also rediscovered a pan to cook popcorn in microwaves that was "forgotten" in our kitchen.
