Dr. Esselstyn says new research shows caffeine prevents the endothelium from producing nitrous oxide. Thus tea is a problem too. I don't want to believe it, but it's probably true. The best drink would probably be water decaffed green tea, which would give you the antioxidents but not the caffeine.
