I'm sure you can find something on the following in your search engine: Some years ago, Norman Cousins, the editor of Saturday Review, was dying of an undiagnosed disease. His doctors didn't seem to be able to do anything for him as his condition worsened. He had himself moved from the hospital to a place with recordings of all the best comedies; clever, silly, goofy, slapstick - anything that made him laugh out loud. His condition improved rapidly and he made a complete recovery.
