I have spent way more time than I care to admit following this stuff on
the internet. I think the low fat dogma will eventually fall. The first
chink in the low fat religion... I had a personal consultation with Dr.
Caldwell B. Esselstyn 4 years ago. He claimed one of the main
indicators of endothelial cell health and its reaction to diet was the
"Brachial Artery Recovery Test" I have been running into studies that
show things like walnuts actually help endothelial cell function.

This study relates to people with type 2 diabetes but I imagine the
results may one day be extrapolated into the general population.

Hmmm if walnuts actually curb inflammation and improve endothelial
cell health give me a handfull.

But what do I know I am just a curious ex carnival worker with heart
disease.

Phil
