Subject:	Blood Test numbers

I just had a physical and blood test.I take no medications and am 61 yrs old.My numbers were C-164 LDL 101 HDL 37 Tri 97 LP(a) 3.0 and BP was 127/78.
My doctor did a Vap test and said my HDL-2 was 6 so very low and my Real LDL size pattern was B so I need Niacin.
I thought my numbers were really good.I follow the 10% rule for fat and the rest of the program even though I don't have heart disease but for preventive.
It seems like the Docs are never satisfied.Any thoughts?
