Hi Dr Pickney,

As you might recall I have followed a strict VLF vegan diet for 6 yrs now w/ continuing great results. I don't have heart disease, but my Dad had a triple bypass 15 yrs ago so there is family history.

I was taking 81 mg aspirin everyday for about 6 months. I noticed when I got a cut or my nose bleed, that my blood took a long time to clot. So I stopped the aspirin and everything went back to normal as it was in the past. So my question is that since I am following a strict VLF diet, is my blood chemistry such that I don't need an aspirin and taking one causes more harm than good.

Thanks

Best Regards,

herman
