Resveratrol, a phytoalexin produced naturally by several plants when under attack by pathogens such as bacteria or fungi, is said to foster longevity, but there is no clinical research on humans that confirms this claim. Nor is there any research to indicate it helps reverse coronary artery disease.

We recommend waiting until enough clinical research is completed to determine if it is beneficial and that there are no negative side effects or long-term dangers.
