Dear Bob Waite, a nutritionist recommended me not to put garlic in the beans. She said that garlic and beans produce a lot of gas. It would be garlic and not beans the source of gas. I have my beans prepared without any kind of seasonings and then I mix them with the vegetables. The other recommendation she gave me is not to drink sodas, even without calories because of the hard chemistry to produce 0 cal (and gas).
