My focus is on keeping at or below 10% calories from fat. As long as one's weight is optimal, the extra calories shouldn't be a problem. If one is trying to control weight, then limiting calories (and burning them with exercise) would be more important. Many companies make low-fat or fat-free soy milk, which was not the case years ago when Dr. Ornish published his recommendations. There's no reason why a low-fat soy milk can't be used instead of a full fat one.
