For what its worth, I searched and searched for a way to make a fat free, and still tasty, salad dressing. Eventually I came across a product that provides a great base to work with. It is Nasoya FAT FREE vegi based sandwich spread. I found it at Wild Oats in Memphis, and have stocked up on it since. It has no oils and is a great faux salad dressing for sandwiches or salads. I mix a teaspoon of it, along with a little Wasabi Tamari, Balsamic vinegar and than I add a teaspoon of Polaner's all fruit jams - sometimes strawberry, or raspberry or cherry. It makes for a completely no-fat salad dressing with very few calories and totally heart reversal friendly, but it tastes like the real thing. The Nasoya Fat Free dressing has been a great staple product for a no-oil reversal diet. Just be sure to get the fat free version, and not just the regular organic version -which is more readily available and does contain oil and fat. Hope this is helpful.
