Most of the Kraft and Wishbone brand fat-free salad dressings use vegetable starches and gums to thicken them instead of oil. A few have trace amounts of vegetable oil, usually less than 2% calories from fat, which is not a problem.

Some flavors (Ranch, Caesar, etc.) may have whey (a dairy by-product), cheese, buttermilk and other contents we caution against, so it's still important to read the list of ingredients before buying.
