Great to hear it's working for you too. I am just a little younger
than you and also have a young one at home, and I was fortunate
enough to come across Dr. Esselstyn's work a little over a year ago.
I also weighed around 230lbs, and had a scary cholesterol makeup,
as well as reflux and bp problems. I've stuck to it for the full year
and have been at 180lbs for the last 7 months, and am off most of
my meds. BP is coming down steadily, but more slowly than the
weight, and reflux is gone. My doc was astounded with my
numbers as well, as they were the lowest she has ever seen. Sadly
she doubts any of her patients could ever stick with this, even after
I keep telling her that it's quite easy once you realize that it can
save your life.
