I am 52 and I found it hard to find like minded people in my area. My experience is the online community works well and is a great source of ideas and motivation. There is great information, not just here, but on the Ornish forum on WebMD, as well as Dr, John McDougalls discussion forum at his site. I find a wealth of information and ideas, as well as a lot of my questions answered on these sites. Dr. Pickney and these other professionals are to be thanked for their selfless dedication to promoting healthy diets and lifestyles. Many of us would be in a much worse state if not for them. |
