First of all, please don't become discouraged because of a bout of angina. Instead, you should be overwhelmed with appreciation for the reduction of angina you've described.

Since every person is different, it's impossible to say when any individual will be free of angina. In my own case, with 100%, 90% and 85% blockages, it took about a year for me to be free of it, even when climbing a steep hill.

Most of the people I've helped (and who continue to follow the reversal program) tell me that they seldom experienced angina after a few months, but some took a couple of years to see it end.

I noticed that I was most likely to experience angina while walking briskly or climbing stairs after a meal - the larger the meal, the more often it happened. But eventually even that went away.

And yes, a single off-the-diet meal can lead to disaster, especially if it contains much more fat than is recommended.

Have a bit more patience. Instead of your heart disease getting worse and killing you, your efforts will cause it to improve as rapidly as possible.
