There are many plant-based foods that are rich in protein. The link below shows a small sampling (from the Vegetarian Resource Group website). It will show you that by eating a well-balanced vegan diet, you will get all the protein a healthy person needs. Some of the world's top athletes are vegan and do not take protein supplements - they just eat normally. The myth that most people don't get enough protein has long been scientifically debunked. The sad fact is that most Americans consume far too much protein and that that is the cause of many health problems.
