Hi Ricardo, Checked McDougall. Human breast milk, used at time of maximum growth (that would be as a baby), protein 5%. Rest of us need less. Checked Esselstyn. "Diet includes ample protein - vegetable protein - at 50 to 70 gms per day, which agrees with your calculation. Esselstyn, McDougall "DON'T need to calculate" ;-). (Except perhaps if you tried to reach a 15% or 20% protein lever instead of 2.5%, which I believe is an error). After two years (and one year at 100% compliance) one is lighter, faster, much fitter and glowing with health. Sickening really for others to see / hear, but what the hey. Too bad! Jon
