This is the question that I am asked most frequently when I tell people that I am on the reversal program. My own experience is that after 2.5 years on the program I have not experienced any problems getting enough protein. I am not a doctor but I think that issues like muscle mass and tone which are often a concern are taken care of by the exercise part of the program. The amount of protein that this lifetsyle provides in my case anyway seems to be quite adequate without any type of supplementation.
