The American Medical Association, The American Heart Association and the Centers for Disease Control have all stated that they can find no evidence that chelation is an effective treatment for cardiovascular disease.

We do not recommend chelation as a substitute for lifestyle changes or the more common medical treatments for preventing or reversing heart disease.
