Subject: what is 5 bipass heart surgery?

hello, my name is Denise, I am from southern Oklahoma. My uncle just last friday (09-24-04), was sent to Oklahoma Heart Hospital with what the doctors here say is the worst heart attack they have ever seen anyone live thru. He just had another heart attack at 4 am the day yesterday (09-28-04). He was supposed to have a 5 bipass heart surgery that day at three oclock. what I really was wondering is what a 5 bipass heart surgery is?
