Well, like I said, I WAS a vegetarian (and lactose intolerant so not only no meat but no dairy, oily food, or sugar pretty much made me a vegan by default) when I was 17 and my cholesterol was 187. I don't think diet has anything to do with it. I also exercise now, I exercised then. Then I was even on the track team in school at the time. So I don't think exercise has anything to do with it. If I had lost any weight back then, I'd be underweight so I don't think weight has anything to do with it. But no one is reading that part, are they?
I think perhaps this board is more about promoting a vegan lifestyle rather than hearing anything else since most of the advice I got was, "studies say that vegans are healthier." Uh, that's nice. Has nothing to do with what I said but if that's all you have to offer, I'll be going.
